CHEESE!!

So this was overall a good weekend. I finally found some decent Gruyere in Tokyo (that's stinky cheese for the uninitiated). The typhoon that came wasn't so bad, but it was raining pretty hard Saturday evening, so I stayed home and watched "Alien" whew, it was creepy. Usually horror movies are so far into the gruesome and coincidental that I just laugh them off, but "Alien" was not overly gory, nor were there like 100 characters that they killed off. Like no one even died for the first hour or so. But it was really creepy. Physiologically speaking though, a creature evolving like that one is very unlikely. I mean, how much sense does it make to have an egg create one organism, which is a parasite that attaches itself to another organism? And then, having begun the creation of yet another organism within the host body, dies. I dunno, seems like too many steps to me. But I think about these things too much.
Took lots of pictures this weekend, but I missed out on the Greenhouse plants unfortunatly. There were some awesome plants in there. That was Sunday. Today was a holiday, and I went to Odaiba with Taka, the gorgeous guy from the train. But he listens to Christina Aguilera and other girly crap. I've dated enough guys who like that shit to know that those aren't people that mix on the right level with me for romance. Friends is good enough.
Anyway, my point was that there was side street entertainment of a guy and his performing monkey. And I felt SO BAD for this monkey. I mean, he was on a rope, and they made him wear rollerskates, and he just did not look happy, and the owner guy didn't really make me feel like he was giving the monkey enough love. Maybe it's just the Japanese thing of not showing public affection or whatever, but it's a monkey. I dunno. I'll post pictures of it later.
Maybe I'll go rent a movie now. I am in the mood again. I love how cheap it is to rent movies here. Even DVD's, they are like $2.50 Awesomeness.
