Picture post!
Jun. 18th, 2005 02:11 pmHere are some pictures from my camping trip last week.
First my students and I met up at the Kita Konosu station with Jenn and Ian. Ian's flatmate punked out and went back home 'cause it looked like rain.
Here is a pic of Ian and Haruko one of the ladies from my class.

Next we drove to Ashigakkoubo and met Scott and Yosenex who took the train.
This is all of them standing around at the train station deciding if they wanted to hike or to go up by car.

Those of us who hiked enjoyed a three hour trek up the mountain. I was told that we only climbed about 600 meters. It seemed like we would have gone more, but I suppose it wasn't steep, just long.

Then we finally arrived to the cabins and Scott and Suzuki sensei were cooking rice. We were all dirty and sweaty, and they were chillin'. hehe
The cabins were nice. We started the BBQ and all ate together.
Here's Scott being silly.

Don't have any pics of Frisbee golf 'cause I didn't have my camera. But after that we went to the riverside and saw the "tatami rock."

That's all for now.
