I was supposed to go to the doctor today, but it's too hot and he wasn't at the hospital. So I have to go to some other place. I don't feel like it now.
My proficiency exam for the Ling correspondence course came. My supervisor just sent it to me, but upon reading the instructions, he's supposed to proctor me and make sure I do it within the time limit. Uh, yeah. So since it says I'll get booted if I cheat, I guess I'll just have to ask someone to proctor me this weekend. It's only about a 1:40 test.
Since I am studying for the GRE (as well as about five other different things) Yosenex suggested that I put a "word of the day" like he does, but English.
Well I studied math so far today, but I'll put my math principles of the day.
"0" is neither a negative number nor a positive number, but it is an even integer.
Also a math tactic; When multiplying fractions remember to cancel out numbers before multiplying. It makes life easier.
Oh, and I also have a kanji of the day (well theoreticaly yesterday) 余 = ョ It means remainder, rest. But in the case where I saw it, it means "I" or "myself"
