お願いです！(Help!)

A teacher from another school in the district approached me about making a presentation on America. It has to be about the social, econimic, and political nature of America. With particular emphasis on how so many different people (race and ethnicities) all live in the same space.

So I'm looking to you folks to give me interesting things to say to a bunch of 12 year olds about our home country (those of you from America, that is. Or I suppose anyone who has something interesting to say about America.)
