After making a slight mistake with the trains Sundy morning, I made it to the test site with about 20 min left to spare. I felt worried about this test, but not THAT worried. My average score on the practice tests is about a 70%, passing is 60%. No matter how much I studied I couldn't really get past 70% because there is no "guaranteed" material. The pool of information I should know for the test is so large that (at my current level) there will always be stuff I don't know.
I think I messed up this time though. I just have to hope that I got a smidge over 60% and passed. I ran out of time on the reading, and I made stupid mistakes on the kanji. And I probably got 2 or 3 wrong on listening (supposedly my strong point where I could get close to 100%)
But there were things I felt I did well in, vocabulary was almost all words I knew. And I'm certain I killed the grammar. I really just have to hope that even though I messed up, the other sections will carry me. Unfortunatly the reading is worth a lot...
Results aren't until February. That's why it's stupid to have the test only once a year.
For those of you who don't know (what bad friends you are! ^-^) I took the Japanese Proficiency Language Test (JLPT) second level. First level is the hardest.
