My father came up to visit me today, and we did all kinds of fun stuff. We lounged around my apartment reading the newspaper, we walked to the Giant and bought every last package of figs that they had, went out to eat at the Copper Cricket, went to see the Alcestis play that was directed by the famous Greek Drama Actress, and had a tea with my Greek teacher and her husband.
A good day, all in all. The play was interesting, I enjoyed it. At the Copper Cricket, my dad ordered the Blue Fish, and what they gave him was DEFINATELY not Blue Fish. It didn't taste, feel, or look like Blue Fish. We thought maybe it was just cleverly prepared to be like Cod, but then I said that there is no way they could get rid of all three qualities (being flavor, texture, and appearance) no matter what techniques they used! Maybe one of them, but all three? It just wasn't Blue Fish, period.
