Jul. 16th, 2004 01:27 pmJust came back from going to the theater with my father. We saw "Nerds." It's not like that movie from the 80's, it's based on the story of Apple and Microsoft. It was entertaining and had lots of good jokes but none of the traditional themes that it needed to keep its relevancy over the ages. Plus the music was unmemorable, and I have to agree with my father that the lyrics were pretty bland as well. The bottom line? It was decent but it's relevancy and consumption value will deterioate within a few years.
Actor playing Bill Gates was cute (I could tell behind the huge glasses).
Afterwards my father took me to have some food, yum. And then what? Dunno, bumming around. trying to think of a way to visit Kelsey before I leave, gonna be tight with the time running out. Can't believe I'm leaving in a week. Before it was like "lemme get going so I can finally occupy myself with something." But now it's all "wait! I need a few more weeks to um around and visit people!" Ah well, such is life.
And now for reading time.
Nite nite
