Jul. 20th, 2004 10:17 pmI had the strangest dream last night. The new Harry Potter book was coming out, and people were of course excited. But there was someone who was involved with the publishing or something and he was telling me the ending was no big deal. It was also the last book of the series and therefore the finale between Voldemort. And somehow started telling me what it was because I couldn't find my own copy. He was telling me (and I was visualizing it) about how in the book Harry had to use all sorts of animal exterminations or something. And so Harry is standing there in a field that looked like a stage because people were surrounding him, seemingly having defeated Voldemort. But then some sort of creature came up to Harry and said, "you aren't done, you have to finish one more thing." And Harry thought about it, and being prompted by the creature started saying "not the bear, not the lion, that's it! The Beaver!" And Harry transforms his hands into some sort of huge paw, and digs his hands into the ground, and the ground writhes and something poofs away. Voldemort was in the ground as a huge beaver or something! And then people are like "oh, that's how he knew every ones movements etc. he could feel us through the ground!"
How bizarre is that?
In other news, I had my fortune read by a tarot card reader. It was a little strange because she read the whole deck, and made me feel a little suspicious with all of her happy news. I mean, she did get somethings about me right, but nothing that didn't make me feel that she could have guessed it from just looking at me. #1 You want nice things but can't afford them. Pretty good bet for someone my age, #2 Sometimes you want to go far away and other times you want to stay home. Also a pretty good guess for anyone. Then beyond that all her fortunes for me in the future were very pleasant. And so I'm wary of it.
