Man, do I get this question all the time. Uh, no people, fireworks are singularly Japanese, no one has EVER seen them before. Oye Gavoy. Despite that though, it is true that Japanese fireworks are obviously ahead of American ones.
Yesterday I met my supervisor's family. His coolness is spead to all of them. He has a daughter the same age as me, and she all fun loving and outgoing too. None of that stereotype asian girl crap :) not that there is anything wrong with that of course.
So yeah, the fireworks. I saw for the first time fireworks that were so bright they blinded me! And also for the first time orange (as opposed to red) and this deep blue lavender color fire works. Also there was a dark pine green, when I've only ever seen that bright neon type green. There were a bunch more that were really interesting but I just don't remember them all.
Ayelet wants to take me to some crazy party in Tokyo, it sounds interesting. I just hope she doesn't want to bring 50 ppl back to my apartment.
I have to replace my tatami mat in the bedroom, and I also need to get a vacuum cleaner. I haven't seen a cockroach in 3 days (watch, one will come out just as I'm finished just to jinx me) and I still haven't figured out why the hell my playstation won't feed into the TV.
The other day I went to a restaruant with Jennifer, and I figured I would just try something new off the specials list. I saw a dish with squid, and seeing as I like squid, I figured I would order it. the squid was raw.

Now, I like sashimi as much as the next japanese person. But the raw squid was just a little too much for me to handle. Texture = hard to chew and slimy. Creepy all around.
Yeah
