why?

Hey ya'll. Had a great weekend. It was just too short is all. First I went and hung with Akane and watched like half of Sex and the City season 6. Looks like it was a good thing they ended it though, because I was really starting to notice how each episode was set up exactly the same way. And I mean, they always were, but it was starting to become more formulaic. Plus the actresses are getting older and you can tell. Not that this is bad either, but they can't have them screwing around forever, right?

OK, then on Saturday I went to a party where I was the only foreigner, and everyone knew each other. Groups are still the hardest for me to be a part of in Japanese. Then on Sunday I went out shopping in Harajuku. I needed a pair of pants. Pants are hard to find even in the US where my size exists. But there was a Gap in Harajuku so I went there. I found these great corduroys. I paid good money for them, but what choice have I got? They are a size 10 too. I'm happy! Sure it's only one size smaller, but even so! Actually, a size 8 fit on me, but it was tight. So maybe eventually I'll be an 8! woo. I think an 8 would be my perfect size. I wouldn't ask for smaller than that.

What's up with all of my friends in the US? 85% of you are all "I'm depressed." Is there something in the air? Has there been a lot of clouds? Hopefully you'll cheer up soon.
