Dec. 6th, 2004 08:38 pmWhen I got home today I was so tired and crabby, (I'm still tired) it's a good thing I didn't post then like I had planned.
Anyway, to get it out of the way,
I'm doing that compliment meme.

This weekend was nice and relaxing. Friday I went to the community center and got a grammar lesson, (in Japanese of course).
Saturday I... uh.... Oh yeah! I went to Omiya with Tomoyuki and goofed off. We saw "Howl's Moving Castle." I'll agree with Akane that it's not on the same level as some of the older stuff, but only because it doesn't "really" have a deeper social meaning. I mean, it tries, and I may not have understood everything, but it ain't no Nausicaa. It's much in the vein of "Whisper of the Heart." A cute little love story.
Sunday went to "hard on" Hard off. (It's used electronics store, and it's called Hard Off, but how can any English speaker look at that and not chuckle at the Japanese ignorance?) Got a Japanese Playstation for 1500 yen so I can play my new Pop n' Music with arcade style controller! Whee!
Having a mini crisis trying to think of gifts for the holidays,
My new school has some really annoying teachers (as usual I guess) and I'm really tired of people telling me I'm good at Japanese. If someone spoke English at the same level as I do in Japanese in the US, we would chuckle at their little funny grammar mistakes (i.e. a classic one from my mother "Oh, you didn't left (leave) yet?"). Anyway, the most I can do it keep practicing, and I can't wait to come home! 2 more weeks! Holy moley!
