Today I thank all of you for your support and hugs (e-hugs and otherwise) for my loss last weekend. It's been hard to adjust to her being gone. I just expect her to come around the corner and talk to me, or to greet me when I get back home from work. I think it hit me worst when I realized that I can close my bedroom door because she won't be coming in to sleep with me in the evenings anymore.
I'm at my uncle's for Thanksgiving. We came down to cook for them since my aunt was recently in the hospital. I'm actually looking forward to Christmas this year. Hideki, my sister and niece, my aunt and uncle, my cousins in Maryland, Sanchita and Pranav, and hopefully my brother and sister-in-law with her family are all coming for the celebrations! It will be so nice to have the house full of people. It's exciting!
