(no subject)

Today I have my first violin lesson. When I spoke to the gentleman, George, he was so shocked to hear I was an adult that he had some trouble conversing for the rest of the conversation. What? Am I the only adult in history who's decided to learn violin or something?

I used to play the viola in Elementary/middle school, but eventually had to give it up because of moving and whatnot. I've been practicing on my own for the last couple of weeks, and proud to say I'm not so squeeky! Sweet. But I think I need a few lessons just to get on track, you know? Goal is to play Kreutzer sonata?.... maybe in a few more years...
