Jun. 20th, 2008 12:46 pmMy father called yesterday to remind me that I only have 15 days left in Greece. Thanks for the cheerful thoughts... I've been relaxing here. I don't know if I really got any good work done or not, but I figured, I'm sick of being depressed about school, so I'm not going to push it.
tomorrow my sister and I are leaving on a boat for my fathers island, Mytilene, with Ourani. I haven't been there I think since my grandmother passed away? Yeah, so 10 years+
PJ Harvey is playing here on the 30th, it's 80 Euros. Is it worth it? I really want to see her, she's one of my idol artists.
Last night my sister and I went to Allou, it's a adventure park. I was freaked out for half of the rides, then I calmed down and it was fun. Freaking out was kinda fun too. I almost died on the pirate ship. It was the second ride we did and she kept pushing it further and further! There were some dumb ass kids who'd been on the ride 100 times making fun of me. Whatever. The last ride we did was called star flyer, and it's like those swing rides at fairs, but it goes up 50 meters. Um, was kinda scary, but worth it. Nice view, felt like flying must feel like.
Nothing much else to report. I have been trying to do some studying, but I feel tired lately. Katherine tells me it's because all of my fatigue from school is coming out now. I also think it's because it's hot, and I'm using a lot of energy following my crazy sister around. Her energy is boundless. After waking up early, driving for half the day which included a pitstop swim in the ocean, she still had energy when we got home to go to the city center to the bookstore and come home at 10pm. I stayed home with Ourani and watched a DVD. Yeah....
