My awesome idea for an experiment was kinda "so what" -ed, as I suspected. I suppose that it just needs more thinking on my part, but I just want to get started on it already! Argh! I guess it wasn't really an awesome idea...
I hope I can figure this out soon, anyway. Amy assures me that this is the hard part, and that I'll find a good question to test and then it will be fun. We'll see about that.
This weekend was really amazing, and helped show me why people love it here. Most of that love comes with the ownership of a car or other kind of motorized vehicle. Julia was out of town for the weekend, and she was kind enough to lend me her car for the price of a tank of gas and a wax job. lots of good beaching was achieved, and I even caught one good wave at Sandy Beach. I want to learn how to boogie board better, or how to surf in general. I should really post online somewhere, or join a community class.
Trying to think of places to go for spring break. I think we will end up in Northern Cali cruisin' napa valley. Another Hawaiian island would be ok too, but if all there is to do is hiking and snorkeling, it will be difficult for everyone to participate.
