Happy New Year

So far, Christmas has been great. My family is all chill and having a great time with one another. All of my best friends from the area are (were) here and we all got to hang out and have an amazing time. We have good news with my dad's condition, and I'm generally feeling content.
I kinda can't wait to move from Hawai'i though. I mean, I've gotten used to it now, but there is something about the whole "vibe" there that doesn't speak to me. It may just be the whole stress of grad school, but I don't know...
Anyway, it's snowing and kinda crazy, but looks like it's waning. Let's hope so, otherwise I'll be stuck here tonight. Ick.
