Trekked out to the shore today. It was a place called Chigasaki, out in Kanagawa prefecture. Took us about 2 hours on the train to get there, but it didn't feel so bad because we all met up in Shinjuku (about half way) and then went off to the beach.
First impression, the place was gorgeous. Sandy (although I hate sand, but I digress), blue, calm, and generally pleasant. We parked where there were very few people and jumped in. About 20 min in I got attacked by a jellyfish, and so we decided that we should move over to where there were more people because perhaps they had anti jellyfish devices in the ropes.
Well they didn't because I got attacked again (and in fact, the irritation on the inside of my arm looks like a perfect anatomical representation of a jellyfish), but it was almost time to leave anyway.

When we went to the more populated area and started to set up, there was a group right in front of us, and one of the girls was looking at us (big group of foreigners, sugoooooi). I quite understand that we get looked at, but this girl continued to look at us without any shame for about 20 minutes. Like she wasn't even remotely discreet about it, just watching us and watching. After about 10 min I got a little annoyed. I just stared back at her.

Sleeping at the wheel here. Nighty night.
