(no subject)

Well, things have been super crazy. And now that my apartment is almost completely packed up, I finally found a couple of extra minutes to catch up on e-mails and journals.

Last week Kerri came to visit. And we went around to so many places, much to the chagrin of the people at school and in town who wanted to meet me. After Osaka and Nara, we came back to Tokyo with the Bullet Train (fast!). The next couple of days we messed around in Tokyo. We met up with Hideki, he drove us to Akihabara. It was too bad we couldn't chill there a little longer.

The last two days we went on an overnight trip to Shizuoka with Suzuki Sensei and Haruko. It was cloudy mostly, but we did get to see Mt. Fuji for 10 min when it cleared for a bit. I'll post pictures later. 

The final morning we went early into Tokyo with all of Kerri's stuff to do some last minute shopping. We were both silly about the time, and Kerri almost didn't have enough time to get to the airport with enough leway. Thankfully there was a Skyliner that got her there in 55 min, and she caught the plane alright. Sorry I didn't come to the airport with you, dear. I feel bad about that. But I had to go home and start cleaning up! 

They came around 9:20 the next day with a truck and took everything. EVERYTHING! Well, some stuff they left 'cause a friend of mine will be using it, but they took a lot... this place is so empty. Worst of all, they took the air conditioning, and it was hot yesterday. 

After tomorrow I'm leaving this apartment. I'll miss it a lot. I'll miss my life here.
