It is waaay too freezing here. It reminds me of Japan winters, temperature not so bad, but still frozen through the bone. Luckily [livejournal.com profile] psychobirdgirl and I found a Japanese sock store while traversing Pier 39. We also came across two Hawaiian jewelery shops and laughed about it. The arcade that was supposed to be big and awesome closed to become a sports bar, and wasn't even open to the public. Gross. They said they will keep the video-games though. But bah! Sports Bar?? Sadness.

There are vintage trolleys here, we rode the Italian ones. Really pretty. I like those little touches when they are cultivated and home grown. It's not like waikiki where they sorta force it by adding it. Went to the aquarium, it was a little bit of a bummer because the petting part was closed for renovation. I think if that were available the price would have been totally worth it, but we did go through twice to make up for it. That allowed us to make some friends with the sharks and created stories about them.

We also bought like $15 of candy from the candy store. Most of it is salt water taffy. It's the best taffy I've had in years. THE BEST!! I think eating too much of it is what got me through the rest of the day 'till we could make it back home.

Sara told me my computer is too big. I know, but I love him anyway, right Loare? Today we get a car and go to the county and the haunted house place whose name I remember mostly but always kinda get it wrong so I won't even attempt to spell it. Then we will drive to Napa valley. Looking over the places online makes me think we don't need to go to too many of them. It's something older people seem to do, but I did want to do at least one tasting.

More later!
