This morning I forgot that I was supposed to be monitoring the reading room. Oops! I put an alarm in my cell for the future. I felt so bad. But then I stopped feeling quite so bad when the girl in charge of the room obviously laughed at my expense with a friend of hers in Korean. I mean, OK, it's alright have a little chuckle, "She forgot to come (the dummy)." I get it, but at least have the decency to do it in a language I can understand.
Before that, I saw fruit gummy snacks in the vending machine, but I only had $1 bill, and it wanted exact change. So I went to the computer pod where people pay change for printout for coins. Got three quarters two dimes and a nickel. The stupid vending machine wouldn't accept two of the quarters. Grr. Upon closer inspection, one of the quarters is a 1942 silver quarter. The other one is Thai money (what is it called? anyone know?). Man, double whammy today for screw-ups.
